The Role

Manager Corporate Finance assisting the Chief Finance Officer of Ignite- National Technology Fund in investment matters, financial projections and modelling. The position reports to the CFO.

• Financial planning: prepare a detailed financial plan in order to develop effective financial systems and practices • Budgetary management: make internal budgetary schemes and recommend strategies for better overall budgetary management • Financial evaluation: after technical approval of the proposal, evaluate the financial proposal as an internal evaluator in accordance with the evaluation criteria defined by the R&D Fund Company • Pre-approval negotiations: negotiate with the Principal Investigator on the financial grounds of the project proposal, including required and proposed funds and other allied matters • Investment strategies: recommend investment strategies for the residual funds of the Ignite Company • Fund raising: coordinate efforts to raise funds through complementary sources nationally and internationally • Assistance and advice: provide assistance and advice to the CFO in all financial matters/ activities of the R&D Fund Company • Project recommendation: forward recommendations and prepare presentations for the CFO, CEO, Board and F&A Committee regarding the evaluated/ approved projects
