The Role
The Shariah Advisor is engaged on a contract basis by Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited to provide Shariah advisory in the Takaful/ Re-Takaful business.

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Masters: Islamic Studies, Law
- Bachelor 16 Years: Islamic Studies, Law
- Bachelor 14 Years: Law
- MS / MPhil: Islamic Finance
- PhD: Islamic Finance
• Minimum seven (07) years of experience as a Shariah Advisor in the Takaful industry • With the Shahadat ul Aalamiyyah route: at least four (04) years' experience of issuing Shariah rulings in Fiqh ul Muamulat (including the period of Takhasus fil Ifta) Preferred: • Experience of teaching Islamic finance at reputable educational institutions in Pakistan • M.Phil or Ph.D. in Islamic Finance
Shariah Advisory, Fiqh ul Muamulat, Islamic Finance, Takaful, English Proficiency
• Suitable certificate of Takaful (with a Post Graduate degree in Islamic jurisprudence/ Usooluddin or L.L.M (Shariah))
• Minimum qualification: Shahadat ul Aalamiyyah degree (Darse Nizami) from any recognized Board of Madaris and a Bachelor's degree recognized by HEC with a minimum of 2nd Class, OR a Post Graduate degree in Islamic jurisprudence/ Usooluddin L.L.M (Shariah) • Contract (02 years), extendable further as per the needs of the Company, by mutual agreement of both parties and subject to the approval of the Board of Directors (BoD)
