The Role
The Guidance Counselor helps students assess their strengths, plan their academic careers and prepare for standardized tests at The City School Ravi Campus, Lahore.
• Assess students’ interests and help them realize their strengths • Help students develop a plan for their academic career that corresponds with their skills and interests • Provide internship/ volunteer opportunities that align with student interests to build overall profile • Encourage participation in community service and co-curricular activities to instill leadership skills and a sense of responsibility • Working closely with students to develop critical life skills such as organization and time management • Guide on timeline and preparation for standardized/ entry tests • Facilitate communication between teachers, parents, students and administrators about behavior and academic problems • Evaluate the progress of students and reinforce the sense of accomplishment
