The Role
The Business Development Manager- South Region identifies and evaluates opportunities for campus relocation, upgradation and new campus expansion for The City School across Karachi, Hyderabad, Interior Sindh and Quetta.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for campus relocation, upgradation, and new campus expansion across the South Region • Conduct regular site visits across Karachi, Hyderabad, Interior Sindh, and Quetta to assess potential locations and growth corridors • Develop strong market knowledge of catchment areas, demographics, accessibility, competition, and local development trends • Build and maintain relationships with realtors, developers, landowners, landlords, and other relevant stakeholders • Develop and maintain a robust opportunity database, maintaining a pipeline of potential opportunities at various stages of development • Track opportunities from initial identification through evaluation, feasibility, negotiation, and closure support • Conduct preliminary demographic, financial, infrastructure, and commercial feasibility assessments • Evaluate catchment potential, school density, competition, accessibility, site suitability, and cost versus revenue viability • Prepare structured feasibility summaries and business plans for internal review and decision-making • Support the Director Business Development in commercial negotiations, deal structuring, and opportunity progression • Coordinate site visits, documentation, due diligence, and follow-ups with landlords and developers • Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Operations, Design & Construction, School Heads, and relevant stakeholders to assess and progress opportunities • Act as the regional focal point for business development activities and ensure effective coordination across locations • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, demographic developments, and relevant regulatory changes • Prepare and maintain accurate site evaluations, opportunity records, proposals, and supporting documentation • Provide regular and monthly reports on the regional opportunity pipeline and progress • Ensure all business development activities comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards • Support the achievement of regional expansion, relocation, and upgradation objectives

5- 8 years
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
5-8 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Real Estate, Expansion, Site Acquisition or a similar field; strong familiarity with the Karachi market Preferred: Exposure to Interior Sindh and/ or Quetta markets; experience managing multiple opportunities across different locations
Feasibility Analysis, Market Research, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Negotiation, PowerPoint, Stakeholder Management
• Willingness to travel frequently across the South Region • Knowledge of local land, leasing and regulatory processes will be an advantage
